Inventory Is Up But So Are Prices

In looking at the St. James Plantation market since the beginning of the year, I am seeing more properties selling at higher prices than last year. With inventory significantly higher, buyers are taking longer to make their purchase decisions, thus increasing the days on market. Interest rate moves have not affected the market in the community as most buyers are showing up with cash for their purchases, adding to its strength.
